Galleri Nicolai Wallner is currently looking for a part-time administrative generalist with logistic experience and interest. Please note that the position is a maternity cover starting October 2019.

Qualified candidates should be detail-oriented and highly organized along with the ability to multi-task, handle a high level of work of volume and complexity. Must be a good communicator, who thrives in a fast-paced environment with an interest in gallery business and contemporary art.

Primary responsibilities include 

  • Coordinate local, domestic and international shipments of artwork.
  • Assist and coordinate daily movement of incoming/outgoing artworks.
  • Coordinate the gallery’s in-house and external storage facilities which includes daily coordination with the external storage and its employees, receiving quotes, etc.
  • General administrative tasks, including database- and storage management.


  • Strong administrative, professional, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently; enthusiasm and flexibility is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary art and knowledge and interest in gallery business.

Position type

Maternity cover either full time or part time depending on candidate and agreement.

The amount of working hours will be discussed with the candidate.


Salary commensurate with experience and will be discussed with the candidate.
