We are hiring a Technician/ Logistics Manager 

Galleri Nicolai Wallner was established in 1993 and has operated for nearly 30 years with an international focus. We represent a significant selection of Scandinavian as well as international artists, and participate in various international acclaimed art fairs.

In recent years the gallery has undertaken a significant and rapid development in which the gallery is focussing on its expansion. In this new position we are looking for someone full-time to participate in the gallery’s continuous development and growth, and someone who will ambitiously engage in our dynamic team and help us extend even further.

We are seeking an experienced Technician /Logistics Manager with a strong working knowledge of fine art handling, installation and shipping. 

In this role, the candidate will oversee the storage and efficient movement of the gallery’s inventory, as well as deal with all installation related manners such as: exhibitions in the gallery, art fairs in Europe etc.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and the ability to manage practical as well as administrative tasks. 

 Responsibilities 

– Oversee and manage logistics, storage and inventory 

– Installation and hanging in the gallery 

– Installing and de-installing at European Art Fairs 

– Packing works 

– Maintaining an overview on the movement of the gallery’s inventory 

 Skills and requirements

– 3-5 years of experience in fine art shipping or logistics in an international art gallery, fine art shipper, or another similar position 

– A strong appreciation for efficiency, synergy, and organisation 

– A talented communicator, with excellent oral and written communications skills and capable of developing streamlined international communication

– Detail orientated with the ability to handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while continually finding opportunities for increased efficiency

– Solution orientated 

– Impeccable quality when handling, packing and installing fine art

– Ability to travel frequently in relation to European Art Fairs
