At this year’s Market Art Fair in Stockholm, Galleri Nicolai Wallner presents a group exhibition featuring new works by Kinga Bartis, A Kassen, Clara Gesang-Gottowt, Alexander Tovborg, E.B. Itso, and J.G. Arvidsson. Together, these artists offer a compelling snapshot of the Scandinavian art scene today—diverse in approach, yet united by a shared interest in the emotional, symbolic, and social dimensions of contemporary life.
Our presentation focuses on artists whose practices are shaped by strong connections to Stockholm and the wider Nordic region. Whether through past institutional collaborations, site-specific projects, or personal ties to the city, these connections add a layer of resonance to the works on view and to their presence at the fair.
Working across painting, sculpture, and installation, the artists explore themes of spirituality, connection, memory, and trans- formation. The presentation highlights how form and material can carry narrative, emotion, and reflection — offering viewers a layered experience of the personal and the collective.
We are pleased to return to Stockholm with this group of artists whose voices speak to both the richness of Scandinavian culture and its ongoing evolution.
