Private Rain is an amusing commentary on the unpredictable weather in Bodø, Norway. Installed in Rundholmen in the harbor area of Bodø, the piece consists of a bench overlooking the sea. Although it looks like an ordinary park bench, the installation is equipped with a complex technical device that gives visitors a very unique and private encounter with rain: as soon as visitors take a seat, a water jet emerges from a special nozzle installed in the water near the shore, falling like rain onto those sitting on the bench.
